Missing Michigan teen may be in NCCo area, authorities say

A missing Michigan teenager, who left her home five weeks ago and hasn’t been since, is believed to be in the New Castle County area, authorities said.

Kaitlyn Adams, 16, was last seen on Sept. 23 when she left her Roseville home to go to school, said Maud Jannin, regional director of the Center for Search and Investigations.

Adams is believed to be traveling with her boyfriend, who sports a tattoo on his right forearm embazoned with “No Regrets” and musical notes around it.

Adams, who was last seen wearing baggy jeans and a pink T-shirt, has been sighted in Illinois, Michigan and Delaware, Jannin said.

“She could possibly be in the Newark and/or New Castle area,” said Jannin, who said her group has been in touch with police in this area.

Adams is described at being 5-feet-4 inches tall, and weighing 115 pounds. She has blond hair and blue eyes, but may have altered her appearance, Jannin said.

“We’ve been looking for her in four different states,” she said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Roseville, MI police Detective Lature at (586) 775-2100 or Jannin at (773) 865-6178.
