Hutcherson, Latifah to honour teens

Josh Hutcherson and Queen Latifah are to help honor four teenagers at an awards show founded by Nick Cannon, which is set to be broadcast live for the first time.

Nickelodeon announced that the Hunger Games actor and rapper-actress will present trophies at the fifth annual TeenNick HALO Awards, which recognize teen volunteers for outstanding community service.

The honors will be presented during a ceremony at the Hollywood Palladium on November 17 and broadcast live on Nick at Nite.

Cannon said HALO, which stands for Helping and Leading Others, aims to “continue the conversations about issues that impact teens today, and empower young people to take action and make a difference.”

This year’s honorees are involved with causes such as transgender rights, autism awareness, urban revitalization and girls’ education.

***Good stuff Nick***
